Amanda Knox case will last a "Lifetime"
I must admit, I can't remember the last time I watched Lifetime, but tonight, I will. Hayden Panettiere, who I have always had a genuine respect respect for, is playing Amanda Knox in a made for TV movie. Ironic that this movie is playing on Lifetime tonight at 9pm, because honestly, this case has lasted a lifetime.
For those who do not know about the Amanda Knox case, it dates back to November 1st, 2007, when English student, Meredith Kercher was brutally murdered in Perugia, Italy. At the time, 20-year-old Amanda Knox and her boyfriend, 23-year-old Raffaele Sollecito were convicted of the crime, but to this day, no one knows what really happened.
The Lifetime portrayal of the murder has stirred up a lot of controversy, and is under serious scrutiny, even facing lawsuits from the attorneys and families of those involved.
According to ETonline.com, "She was so amazingly shocked by [the trailer for the movie]," Knox's stepfather Chris Mellas recently told ABC News. "She said she literally started hyperventilating. She felt like she was going to throw up."
Ok relax with the dramatic reaction. What she should be hyperventilating about is whether she's going to get the lethal injection or not.
The only reason why I can see where this can pose a problem is the fact that some people may take a "made for TV movie" as factual. People may not realize that this film is made to get viewers and entertain, so all of the scenes are NOT factual.
However, the same idea goes for the critics, this is a MADE FOR TV movie, not a documentary.
In addition, this controversy is probably the best thing that could have happened to Lifetime, because any press is good press, and they are getting A LOT of it. Younger folks like me will be tuning in to see what all the hype is about. Even though they supposedly deleted the murder scene to comply with those who complained and saw it as disgraceful, I would still like to watch.

Bieber misses out on the Grammy AND the top spot at the Box Office
Ok so I still have not seen this movie, and I really need to. As soon as I have a few free hours, I will. However, I am pretty surprised at the weekend box office numbers. "Justin Bieber lost out at the Grammys for Best New Artist and Best Pop Album, and he also came in a close second at the box office this weekend. His new concert documentary, "Never Say Never," earned $30.2 million, just below Adam Sandler's Just Go With It, which earned $30.5 million" according to Yahoo Movies. Also, as another surprise, his documentary failed to beat out Miley Cyrus' "Hannah Montana: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour." From what I have READ, his documentary has substance. Zorianna Kit of the Huffington Post says
"Pop star Justin Bieber's 3D documentary Never Say Never should satisfy any die-hard Bieber fan. At the same time, those dragged to come along will not only enjoy themselves, but actually come to appreciate the 16-year old singer and even root for him." New York Magazine says, "This sensationally engineered promo film makes Justin Bieber look like a true force of nature." However, the negative reviews are plentiful, and this film clearly attracts a narrow demographic. However, I truly thought this movie would blow out the box office. Let's see how it does in its second week.
Furthermore, when it comes to the Grammy, THAT I can understand. Justin Bieber is obviously the most POPULAR new artist, but that does not mean he is the best. Esperanza obviously portrays the more artistic side of music, whereas the Biebs is a teen heart throb of the 21st century. Kudos to the Grammy's for punking the world, though. Esperanza is now the superstar that nobody knows about!

Good for nothin' Charlie Sheen may be good for somethin'
It's not all bad news for cast and crew of Two and a Half Men. TMZ is reporting that the 45-year-old actor would be willing to cover one-third of the salaries if CBS and Warner Bros. TV would pay the rest.
Seeing as their better "Half", Angus Jones, 16, makes $250,000 an episode, he will be putting forth a lot of hooker money-- I mean.... money.

Irreconcilable Differences result in splitsville for Simpson-Wentz
I kind of liked this couple.. They were different and edgy, I actually thought they had longevity. After filing for divorce, Ashlee is even trying to get custody of their two-year-old son, Bronx. Apparently, Simpson couldn't deal with his "erratic" behavior. They may be getting divorced now, but who's to say when they really seperated. I doubt this just happened out of nowhere. Celebrities have their ways to keep issues mum for long periods of time.
However, Lindsay Lohan is a different story. No more keeping mum about her sporadic behavior. What's the next crime? Murder? When the judge released her on a 40,000 dollar bail, she said, "Don't push your luck." WHAT LUCK? How about stop being a psycho screw up and go to church or something.

Lindsay Lohan aka Winona Ryder
Oh Lindsay, you really have to do something about those sticky fingers. Is she really trying to improve her image?
Maybe this is her way of maintaining publicity because no one will hire her. How can you hire someone that can potentially be in jail for the next three years?
We already know about her alcohol and drug problem, which seems to be a given in young Hollywood, but a thief? That's a whole different world. To me, that brings trashy to a new level. Even to this day when I see Winona Ryder in a film, I automatically associate her with the stealing spree she had years back. Once a thief, always a theif.
She claims she borrowed the necklace, and her stylist forgot to give it back. She is already facing charges for assaulting someone at the Betty Ford Clinic!!!! However, the jewelry store sent surveillance footage that shows Lohan in the store on the day that necklace was stolen. Then pictures were taken of her wearing the necklace, after it went missing.
Coincidence?
I hate to be negative, but I will take an educated guess and say SYANARA LILO!!!!!!!!!
An arrest gives her automatic jail time. When you're on probation, and get arrested, that's violating probation.
However, this could be an incident like when she mistakenly borrowed pants that had cocaine in the pockets, which she had no idea about. That was just coincidence, right? Good luck, Lindsey. Maybe your sister's promising career can help fund your recklessness. Oh wait.................... did I say promising?
