News Briefs: Amy Winehouse, Kim & Kris' brief honeymoon, Will & Jada say, "Our marriage is intact."

AMY WINEHOUSE: Autopsy and VMA Tribute:

Everyone seems to be very surprised... the Autopsy found that there were NO illegal drugs found in Amy Winehouse's system; Yet, it is still unclear what killed her, according to her family. There was, however, "Alcohol present" in her system, but they have yet to find out if that was a factor in her death.

The VMA's this year will do a special tribute to the late Pop Star. Entertainment Weekly states, "The legendary Tony Bennett, whose duet with Winehouse on “Body and Soul“—the last recording made before her death—appears on his upcoming Duets II, will have the honor of introducing the tribute."

When can we hear this single? Entertainment Weekly also reports that, "The single and video will be released for purchase by Columbia Records Sept. 14, which would have been Amy’s 28th birthday. Proceeds will support the Amy Winehouse Foundation established by the late singer’s family."


KIM KARDASHIAN AND KRIS HUMPHRIES GO ON A HONEY:

At least they're similar in height...

I call it "honey" because it was nowhere near a full honeymoon.

The New York Post reports that the newlyweds left LAX on Monday for a trip to Caprice.

Initially, Kim and Kris were postponing their honeymoon until 2012, but they were able to squeeze in a quickie, he he.

Kim has to be back in LA on Sunday to present at the MTV Video Music Awards.

WILL AND JADA UPDATE:

[Updated, 1:45 p.m. Aug. 23: "Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false," the Smiths said Tuesday in a joint statement. "We are still together, and our marriage is intact."

Is this all a rumor? I hope so. 14 years is such a long time in Hollywood.

Two years ago, Jada Pinkett Smith had a revealing interview with Ebony magazine. In that interview, she said,

"When Will asked me to get married, I said, ‘Understand this, there will be no divorce. So, you might be in one bedroom and I might be in another, but we’re gonna be under the same roof and we’re gonna be married.”

Will and Jada have been known to have a very open marriage... They say it has been that way since the day they got married. Reportedly, he believed that that was the key to their success in the relationship. However, is it too open?

In an interview with the UK Magazine Reveal, Will goes in depth about the openness of his marriage:

"Our perspective is, you don't avoid what's natural and you're going to be attracted to people." 
"And if it came down to it, then one would say to the other: 'Look, I need to have sex with somebody. Now, I'm not going to if you don't approve of it'."
"In our marriage vows, we didn't say 'forsaking all others'. We said 'you will never hear I did something afterwards'. Because if that happens the relationship is destroyed."

Maybe Charlize was able to get in on the fun too? That is just too much hottness right there. Will, Jada, AND Charlize? Sheesh.

The best moment of the Kim Kardiashian/Kris Humphries wedding?

It wasn't Lindsay Lohan... Somehow, she managed to get her own spotlight before the wedding... Oh well... as long as the white is in her dress and not up her nose, we'll let her be.

So back to the ceremony... The greatest moment seemed to be little Mason, Kourtney Kardashian's one-year-old, walking down the aisle as the ring bearer. Not once, but three times!

It took the toddler three times to get down the aisle!

Kathie Lee, one of the lucky guests at the wedding, said that if anyone could steal the shine, it would be Mason. "Ultimately it comes down to family," Lee said. "[Mason] set the pace for a little bit of humor."

Why was this such a precious moment? Because it reminded you that this was real. It wasn't a scene out of a movie. It was a "human moment," as Kathie Lee described it. From the diamond tiara, to the fairy tale ceremony, things seemed almost fantastical. One has to wonder if the foundation of a wedding: love and family, was masked by all of the glamour.

The Today show described her wedding getup: "[Her] dress was strapless, with a fitted bodice, a full, rather traditionally cut tulle skirt, and an epic train. The shoes were Guiseppe Zanotti. Her hair was up and her veil remained off her face as she walked down the aisle, the veil topped by a jeweled headpiece with diamonds that dripped onto Kim's forehead." In addition, all the guests had to be wearing either black or white.

E! News correspondent, Ken Baker, shared his thoughts on the fashion of the wedding: When it came to Kim's dress, Baker says, "She took a risk with the very elegant headpiece." "[The guests] went into applause when she went down the aisle." In addition, Baker says that Kris Humphries went through two outfits throughout the night, which is different because you never see the groom do an outfit change. Kim is clearly rubbing off on him!

The bridesmaids had a "Pipa middleton effect," describes Baker. "...Tight fitting ivory gowns."

The "Pipa Middleton effect" was no mistake. Kim said that she was definitely inspired by the Royal Wedding. She referred to hers as her own Royal Wedding.

The dresses weren't the only things inspired from Kate Middleton and Prince William's wedding... The location, Sotto Il Monte estate in Montecito, California, was also chosen in lieu of the Royal Couple.

Kathie Lee said that one thing that really stood out about the wedding was the vows. They had a "very spiritual pastor... He spoke about all the words in the bible for love. It made you think about what love really is." "He preached the bible. The pastor said, "If you don't work at it... you will have a mediocre marriage very quickly," adds Lee.

Kathie Lee and Ken Baker talked about the gifts they received from the wedding:

Kathie Lee displayed a white flip flop saying "Kim loves Kris." She also showed nail polishes, perfume, and plenty of spa products.

Ken Baker says, "There were plenty of gifts for everyone to go around." Everyone was also given a gift card for a pair of Jimmy Choos.

Oh, just to put the icing on the cake, here is a picture of Kim's engagement ring in case you haven't seen it. Crazy thing is, I have this. It's in my freezer at the moment, and I call it an ice cube.

Kardashian/Humphries Royal Wedding: Wedding Dress, New Perfume, and STEEP Registry

10 days until the big day... The day we've all been waiting for... The Kardashian/Humphries wedding affair.

I was initially pretty upset that I didn't get an invite, then I realized I'll be able to catch the gala on TV. The E network announced that it will air "Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event" over two nights; October 9 and 10. That is probably better because I can't really afford her registry.

Her registry includes a $1,250 silver serving spoon, a $375 Baccarat candy jar, a $1,600 Scandinavian-designed teapot and an antique ebony oval breakfast tray worth $1,590. There is even a Baccarat "Cosmos" crystal vase which is $7,850.

However, she does have a &12.50 cloth napkin up for grabs. How would the person with the napkin feel, though? What a way to stand out.

The wedding will take place on August 20, and Kim will wear a dress designed by Vera Wang, according to MTV News.

What better way to publicize the wedding than to design a custom perfume just for the special day?

Her explanation for the self titled perfume?

"I collect fragrances so when I smell one that I haven't worn in years it'll bring me right back to that time. This will remind me of success, working really hard and also my sisters. We were all together so much when I was making the fragrance that it reminds me of my TV show," says Kim.
