But don't feel bad for the mother of eight... She had a long run. A TLC Spokeswoman commented on the cancellation:
"TLC has decided not to renew another season of 'Kate Plus 8. By the end of this season 'Kate Plus 8' will have hit the 150 episode mark (including 'Jon & Kate Plus 8'); an exceptional milestone. TLC hopes to check in with Kate and the family periodically with specials in the future."
Jon Gosselin (Kate's Ex Husband), told Radar Online that he was "relieved" with the cancellation. He is clearly looking forward to some kind of normalcy with the family. But... eight kids is not exactly normal. The only kind of "normalcy" will be a "normal" paycheck.
He also told the online magazine, "I hope they can have more private family moments. I hope that this will bring more privacy to my children and that they can get the proper attention they need for any personal issues they might have in the future."
I'm confident that Jon and Kate will be able to support their eight children, however, Kate may not be able to afford her lavish lifestyle without her hit TV Show. Her hair in itself reportedly costs $7000. That does not include her various plastic surgeries (you think all moms of eight look like that?), personal training, material things, etc.
