This picture... I just... love it. |
Michael Beasley of the Minnesota Timberwolves, was in a game at Dyckman Park in New York City when someone started mouthing off. Let me just say, that's what HAPPENS in basketball games. After a while, you should be able to tune it out! Anyhow, Beasley clearly got distracted, and proceeded to yell, "I get paid to do this!" which resulted in about a 10 minute pause in the game.
Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News was there observing and tweeting during the incident. One of his tweets said:

I just love the fact that he said "mushed" because that gives you such a good visual of what happened. It wasn't a punch, it wasn't a slap, or a backhand. It was a mush.
Bondy proceeds to explain the incident:
"By mushed, I mean Beasley used one hand to push the spectators face. Nobody was hurt. Fan kept watching game but was surrounded by security."
I'm sorry, but this is pretty funny to me. WHO DOES THAT?! Do you have no self control? You are a famous ATHLETE! There are going to be people taunting you all the time!
As a side note, Beasley was arrested last month for possession of marijuana.
Come one, Beasley, use your brain!
Oh wait...
